Don’t forget Dad! Father’s Day is June 20 but instead of getting him another tie or a new screwdriver buy your dad a gift that will keep giving year after year. Plant trees in the Kikuyu Escarpment Forest, Kenya!

Your trees will be planted by the International Tree Foundation where they will grow for decades as part of the restoration of this ancient forest.
How It Works

Purchase your trees, it costs CDN $1.75 (£1) to plant one tree. The International Tree Foundation (ITF) will send you a confirmation email with a digital postcard about your trees which you can send on digitally or print out. Local ITF partners will plant your trees where they will be nurtured and protected to ensure their survival for years to come.

About the Kikuyu Escarpment Forest

Tree planting partners, Kijabe Environment Volunteers (KENVO) are a local community-based organisation. They deliver sustainable conservation programs in the Kikuyu Escarpment Forest by planting trees that will restore the forest’s ecosystem and support the local communities who depend on the land to embrace sustainable livelihoods.

The forest is an area of outstanding beauty and home to incredible wildlife, including elephants, monkeys, bush babies, porcupines and over 130 species of bird.

Over the last year KENVO in partnership with ITF have planted 10,000 trees in the forest and on local farms.
