Lunch Meeting - November 14, 2016

An informative and enjoyable lunch meeting today. District Governor, Nabil Oudeh, met with his home club's Board of Directors and was the guest speaker at lunch. The BOD appreciated learning more about activities and goals at the District and how to benefit from even greater involvement. DG Nabil also spoke about the importance of keeping club's energized, enhancing youth programs, including Interact and the need for diversity and inclusiveness.

Emin Kara, a Rotaractor from Ankara, Turkey, completing a University exchange in St. John, New Brunswick, visited the capital and attended the Rotaract Club of Ottawa meeting on Sunday night and our lunch meeting on Monday. Emin spoke about his experiences in Rotary and exchanged a banner with club President, John Lark.
