FOOD DRIVE a huge success!

Thanks to the smiling faces of the members of the Rotary Club of Ottawa, the members of the Metro Rotary group and the Rotaractors, we encouraged the local citizens to donate the food equivalent of the overflowing bin and 3 large shopping cards PLUS $633.15 in Cash!

Rotary Clubs in District 7040 chose Saturday, January 24th, as a day to enhance our community's awareness of the issue of hunger and to do something concrete about it.

We owe the Manager of the Loblaws store on Rideau Street as well as the many Loblaws staff we worked with during our time there a big thank you.

The Food Bank was very happy to receive our donations.
